Barbara D'Ambrosio, 56, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2004, in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born August 28, 1948 in Rochester, NY and grew up in Albuquerque, NM. Barbara attended Highland High School and received a degree in Education from the University of New Mexico. She moved to Lake Havasu City 25 years ago where she was employed as the registrar at Mohave Community College. Barbara is survived by her mother, Vivian D'Ambrosio and her husband Kenton Ray of Albuquerque; one sister Sheila D'Ambrosio of Scotts Valley, CA; brothers, Jack and Kirk D'Ambrosio of Albuquerque, and Mark State of Sydney, NE; and her dearest friend, Claudio Derevizus of Lake Havasu City. Pastor Mike Moorhead officiated at Barbara's Memorial Service held December 3 at Lake Havasu Baptist Church. Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory handled the burial. Mohave Community College has established the Barbara D'Ambrosio Scholarship Fund in her memory. Donations may be sent to the College, 1977 W. Acoma Blvd., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.
