William Charles Wilson, born 3 July 1928 to James L. & Lily Wilson in Cass County, Illinois. He had three brothers and two sisters. He was in the Air Force 1950-1954 in the Korean War. Graduated from DeVry Institute in Chicago and went to work for Sandia Labs in 1957 - retired 31 years later. As a Field Engineer he worked at many test sites, including Carlsbad, Nevada, Oak Ridge, Wyoming, and Hawaii. He had two children from his first marriage - Steven C. Wilson and Susan Lynn Caskey - both of Albuquerque, NM. His wife of 27 years, Katheryn Wilson, was with him when he died in El Paso, Texas on November 30, 2004. He will be sorely missed by his longtime friend, Jim Burns of Las Vegas, Nevada. Bill loved spending time at his place near Cuba, NM. Hope you're there, Bill, enjoying the wind in the pines and aspens.
