Catherine "Kay" Kanjer, 89, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away at her home Sunday, November 28, 2004. She is survived by her special longtime friend, Lois Duffy; nieces, Judith Moore, Patricia Collins, Susan Pancoska; and nephew, Joseph Tijan. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, and a brother. She was a member of the Arroyo Del Oso Golf Club for many years and was active in golf up to recent months. Catherine relocated to Albuquerque after a career at Western Electric in Chicago, where she was a member of a professional softball team. A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel.
