Catherine "Kay" Kanjer, 89, a long time resident of Albuquerque, passed away at her home Sunday, November 28, 2004. She is survived by her special longtime friend, Lois Duffy, nieces, Judith Moore, Patricia Collins, Susan Pancoska, and nephew, Joseph Tijan. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters and a brother. She was a member of the Arroyo Del Oso Golf Club for many years and was active in golf up to recent months. Catherine relocated to Albuquerque after a career at Western Electric in Chicago, where she was a member of a professional softball team. A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel.
