Robert J. DuPree, 71, passed away following a lengthy illness Thursday, November 25, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rose, of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Jacqueline Ayre and husband, Bill, of Edgewood, NM; sons, Alan DuPree and wife, Stephanie, of Tijeras, NM, Andrew DuPree and wife, Jennifer, of Pleasant Hill, CA and Jon DuPree of Rio Rancho, NM; grandchildren, Kenny, Amanda, Cole, Alaina, Angela, Rosemarie, Bobbi, Natalie, Cassidy, Franki and Andrea; brother, Clarence DuPree and wife, Lenore, of Chicago, IL and several nieces and nephews. Mr. DuPree served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the City of Albuquerque as Operations Manager of the Rio Grande Zoo after many years of service. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2004, 1:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
