Obituary for TABET

George K. Tabet went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2004 at the age of 93. He was born on March 13, 1911 in Punta, New Mexico. He was an Albuquerque resident since 1941 and a WWII Army Veteran. Mr. Tabet was a devoted Catholic and usher for 28 years at the 7:00 a.m. Mass at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Adelita Tabet of 66 years; sons, Daniel K. Tabet and Abie Tabet; brother, Samuel K. Tabet and wife, Louise; and his sisters, Lola Daher and Thelma Milner; sisters-in-law, Rose Padilla and Paula Padilla. He will be deeply missed by his loving family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his caregiver Maria Lee. Visitations will be held on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday and Mass will be celebrated on Monday time and place to be announced. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Isachaar Parra, Israel Parra, David Padilla, Carlos Padilla, Eddie Baca, and Bob Keene. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Chavira, Don Gutierrez, and Henry Gabaldon.
