Damon Beach, 82, a resident of Albuquerque for 40 years, died Wednesday, November 24, 2004. He is survived by his brother, Jim Beach and wife, Wanda, of Tulsa, OK sister, Betty Jo Moore and husband, Roger, of Columbus, OH and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Langston Beach; brothers, Dr. Vincent W. Beach of Boulder, CO and Vernon H. Beach of Greenwood, AR. Mr. Beach served in the US Navy in WWII as a Communications Officer on an LST during several campaigns in the Pacific. He attained the rank of Lt. Junior Grade. Mr. Beach worked for McMillian Publishing Company for 34 years, first in Arkansas and then New Mexico and Texas schools. Services are being arranged by Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas, TX.
