Ms. Anna Martinez, 88, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on November 18, 2004. Ms. Martinez is survived by her brother, Joe E. Martinez Jr.; sister-in-law, Margaret Martinez; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ms. Martinez was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Flora Martinez; a sister, Guadalupe Martinez, three brothers, Natividad C. Martinez, Carlos Martinez and Manuel Martinez; sisters-in-law, Loriena Martinez and Frances Martinez. Ms. Martinez was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Ms. Martinez will be Sunday afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9502 4th St. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 4:00 p.m. by Robb Sisneros. A final visitation for Ms. Martinez will be Monday morning from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Martinez, Chano Martinez, Matthew Ericson, Ronnie Baca, Mark Chavez, David Lyons and Robert Martinez Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be, Joseph Martinez, David Salazar, Arthur Sandoval and Alfred Sandoval Jr. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Rd.
