Obituary for BIRD

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Wednesday November 17, 2004

Jeremiah Lee Bird, a native of Albuquerque, died on Friday November 5, 2004 in San Diego, CA. Jeremiah was active duty Navy as a DC2 stationed in San Diego. After two West-Pac tours aboard the U.S.S. Peleliu, he received orders to serve as an instructor at the Naval Fire Fighting Training Center in San Diego. His knowledge, contributions, and mostly his smile will be forever missed. His love for firefighting was equaled only by the love for his family. Jeremiah is survived by his wife, Andrea and son, Aaron of Santee, CA; his dad, Brian Bird of Albuquerque; his mother, Kathy Wild of Aztec; his siblings, Trish, Matthew, and Molly of Albuquerque; and many grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday November 19, 2004 at Calvary Chapel 4001 Osuna Road NE, Albuquerque. Many heartfelt thanks to everyone that has supported us through these difficult times.
