Irma A. Pace, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1996, died on November 8, 2004. She was born December 11, 1912 to Amelia Seegmiller and Abraham Fletcher Acord in Provo, Utah. Irma was educated in the Provo City schools and graduated with a Master's degree in Education from Brigham Young University. She is preceded in death by her husband, Udall Wilson Pace who died in 1957. Irma loved to travel and spent her summers visiting exotic locations such as China, India, Africa, and Europe. She was fond of the arts, particularly Shakespeare, ballet, the Opera, and playing bridge. Irma taught school in Utah and Arizona. Teaching was her passion. She loved working with children. After moving to Albuquerque, she volunteered at Chelwood Elementary School until her 89th birthday. Her wish was to be remembered as she was in life and therefore requested no funeral services.
