Mary Mares, 75, passed away on November 5, 2004. She is survived by her sisters, Virginia Sanchez and husband, Fred and Lorella Garcia, both of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of which were very special to her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andres Mares in 2000 and Amanda Mares in 1999; her brother, Leo Mares; and her sister, Gloria Baca, in 2001. Mary loved crafts, gardening, pets, children's pictures and taking trips. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10 at Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. A Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 11, also at Chapel of Sunrise. Interment will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 12, at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
