Obituary for ANDERSON

Dorigen L. Anderson, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, October 26, 2004. She is survived by her husband, Harold L. Anderson; daughter, Vicki Stewart and husband, Mike; grandsons, Chris Stewart and wife, Stephanie and Matthew Stewart, all of Spearman, TX; and sister, Dorothy Musser of Lone Tree, IA. She was preceded in death by her father, Bert Doerres and mother, Elizabeth Girrard Doerres. Mrs. Anderson was born and raised in Lone Tree, Iowa. She was certified by the Library of Congress as a Braillest. Mrs. Anderson transcribed many books for the blind. She also sold Avon for a few years in Albuquerque. Mrs. Anderson was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Naomi Women's Circle. Services will be held Friday, October 29, 2004, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Rev. Clyde Stanfield officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.
