Obituary for BELL

Jerry Rex Bell, born on March 26, 1939, and son of Ralph and the late Sally Bell, entered the kingdom triumphantly on October 9, 2004 after a brief but heroic bout with cancer. Rex was a Vietnam veteran, having served four years in the United States Marine Corp. Rex was a native of Oklahoma, moving to Albuquerque in 1952. He is survived by his wife, Clarice (Schneider) Bell; father, Ralph Bell; daughter, Vicki and husband, Dean; grandchildren, Stephanie, Sam and Tyler; great-granddaughter, Kylie; son, J.D and wife, Barbara; grandchildren, Miles, Jacob; great-granddaughter, Kendal; sister, Donna and husband, Tom; son, Curtis; brother, Roy and wife, Vera, and family; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Schneider and wife, Dot, and family, Vernon and wife, LaVeta, and family, Leonard and wife, Nadine, and family; and sister-in-law, LaDonna Schwien, and husband, Ron, and family. Rex will be sorely missed by all whose lives he touched. A memorial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, at Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. A Funeral will be held in Wakeeney, Kansas at Schmitt Funeral Home on Monday, October 18, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Internment will be in Wakeeney Cemetery.
