Drusilla L. Platz, age 92, and a resident of Albuquerque and Placitas since 1948, died Sunday, September 26, 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Myrna Roberts and husband, Dave of Alta Loma, CA; her son, Craig Platz and wife, Peggy of Placitas; and grandchildren, Pamela Roberts, Mitchell Roberts, Wade Platz, and Rachael Platz. She and her predeceased husband, Richard "Dick" Platz, both reared in Kansas, honeymooned to Albuquerque in 1932 and loved New Mexico so much they swore to return and live here, which they achieved 16 years later. Both were long-time members of Immanuel Presbyterian Church and Las Placitas Presbyterian Church, and together were long-time members and officers of New Mexico Unit 069 of WBCCI, caravanning, rallying, and touring most of North America with their Airstream trailer. She also was past president and longtime member of Gardinarios de Placitas, gardening being her favorite of many hobbies.
