Obituary for VANDIVIERE

John Darrel Lane Vandiviere, 93, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, September 19, 2004. He is survived by his daughter, Betty Jo Carroll and husband, William; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren; step-brothers, William H. Allen, Bud Allen; and step-sister, Juanita. Mr. Vandiviere lived in Santa Fe and was a self-employed truck driver. He worked for the BIA in Tuba City, Chinle, and Kayenta, Arizona Indian Reservations. He worked as a Carpenter and was Roofing foreman of the BIA. He lived in Los Lunas for several years. John was born in Manassa, CO, November 19, 1910, he married Bonnie G. Summers, July 15, 1941, who preceded him in death October 25, 1986. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Rosita Vandiviere, son David Summers, brother, Harlow Vandiviere and sister, Evelene Vandiviere. Services have taken place.
