Alvis H. Ferguson, 78, a resident of Albuquerque, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 21, 2004. He is now singing in God's heavenly choir. Mr. Ferguson is survived by his wife, Shirley Ferguson; sons, Rick Ferguson and his wife, Jenny, Eric Ferguson, and Michael Ferguson, all of Albuquerque; sisters, Zella Hammond and husband, Clifford, and Doris Herman, all of Albuquerque and Mary Comer of Martinsville, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, at 1:00 p.m., at Heritage Christian Fellowship, 11104 Menaul NE, with Pastor Tim Maxwell officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
