Obituary for FARLEY

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Tuesday September 21, 2004

Jeffrey Farley, our beloved son, brother, godfather, and uncle Jeff, died unexpectantly, Thursday, September 16, 2004. He leaves behind a void that can never be filled. Jeff was born on September 20, 1957 in Albuquerque to Bob and Connie Farley. Caring, gentle, and generous, Jeff was always the one to take care of others, the first to volunteer to help, the first to lend a hand. Jeff loved music, art, tennis, and had become an avid golfer. By profession, he was involved in all aspects of operations of Concetta D Gallery. He was involved in photography, public relations, shipping and receiving, displaying of art, and framing. He was the right arm of Concetta D Gallery, and will be desperately missed. Jeff is survived by his parents, Bob and Connie Farley; his sister, Anne Farley; his two brothers, Marc and Bo Farley; his godchild, Aidan Dunn; nephew, Spencer Farley; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his 98 year-old grandfather, James DeSimone, residing in Chesapeake, VA. We send our kind and wonderful Jeff off with very heavy hearts. He will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives he touched. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, located at 6901 Wyoming NE. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Epilepsy Foundation, 4351 Garden City Drive, Landover, Maryland 20785, or Watermelon Moutain Ranch Animal Rescue, 33 Camino De Las Huertos, Placitas, NM 87043.
