Myrtle S. Cox, 89, a resident of Quemado, NM, passed away Tuesday September 14, 2004. She was born to Ira and Emily (Guyer) Sweazea March 22, 1915 in Magdalena, NM. She is survived by her son, Harlie Cox and wife, Linda of Faywood, NM; brother, Raymond Sweazea of Mountainair, NM; and sister, Pearl Bond of Albuquerque, NM; and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter, Annabelle Thompson. Myrtle was a member of the New Mexico Cattle Growers Association. A graveside service will take place Friday September 17, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rito Creek Ranch Cemetery in Quemado, NM. Arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.832-6130.
