Ruth Juanita (Eikenberry) Winchell, 66, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2004. She battled scleroderma for several years but could suffer no longer and is now at peace. She always looked for the joy in life and left a lasting impression on those who came in contact with her and her contagious laugh and beautiful smile. She is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Winchell in 2002; her father, Ralph Eikenberry and mother, Ethel Eikenberry. Ruth is survived by her brother, Daniel Eikenberry of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Patricia Fillmore of Albuquerque and Judith Cone of Galva, IL; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Betty Newville and the staff at Sandia Kindred Hospital for their excellent, tender care of our sister.
