Ruth "Mary" Williams, 90, a resident of Rio Rancho since 2001, died on September 7, 2004. She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon M. Williams and Patricia A. Lein and husband, Roy, all of Rio Rancho; one son, Alvin Williams Jr. and wife, Lajra of Sacramento, CA; one granddaughter; five grandsons; seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Alvin W. Williams; grandson, David Ray Lein; and two brothers, Edd and C.W. Beal. Ruth was a member of the Ten Pin Bowling Leagues in Rio Rancho and a member of Rio Rancho United Methodist Church. Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel with Pastor Gregg Armstrong, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Roy Lein, Al Williams Jr., Joe Russom, and John Beal. Friends and family may visit French Mortuary on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 8100 Mountain Rd.
