Donald Sollitt Annett, 88, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1978, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2004. Donald was born June 12, 1916, the son of Roy Lindsay and Abba Estelle Sollitt Annett in Frederic, WI. He came to New Mexico from Ohio. Donald had been a Managing Engineer in the paper carton manufacturing business before he retired. He served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn in 1999. He is survived by two children, Marcia E. Wade and husband, Mark of Lexington, KY, and Michael D. Annett and wife, Linda of Hamilton, MI; two grandchildren, Gretchen Williams and husband, Josh, and Matthew Annett of Holland, MI; one step-grandson, Benjamin Wade of Lexington, KY; and one great-granddaughter, Taylor Williams; and his dear friend and neighbor, Duane Stair. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2004 from 1:00 p.m. to time of service. The Service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho.
