Adela Romero, 87, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2004 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born November 2, 1916 to Isias and Estanislada (Bustos) Romero in Tokay, NM. She is preceded in death by her brother, Fabian Romero; sisters: Manuela Williams, Sara Padilla, Sefie Chavez and Mauricia Gonzales. She is survived by her sisters: Rose Torres of Socorro, NM and Maria Gonzales of Albuquerque; sister-in-law, Vidal Romero of Socorro; niece, Rufina Chavez of Socorro; and many other relatives and friends. A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at 7:00 pm at Steadman-Hall Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Steadman-Hall with Pastor Pedro Capatillo officiating. Burial will be in the San Pedro, NM cemetery. Pallbearers are: Derek Padilla, Moises Romero, Stephen Garcia, Carl Padilla, Ralph Garcia and Steven Macbain. Honorary Pallbearers are: Jeremy Tafoya, Levi Gonzales, Leo Padilla, Chris Jimenez, Fabian Romero Jr. and Brian Padilla. Arrangements are under the care of Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM.
