David Urias, age 74, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2004. "Daddy" loved "Momma" and his special "Jacovita" a lot. He loved fishing, hunting, and the mountains. He loved all his children and grandchildren and was always willing to help and lend a hand to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed and forever loved. David is preceded in death by his parents, Flora and Juan Urias; and his sons, Juanito and Ruben Urias. He is survived by his loving wife, Antonia, of 56 years; his loving children, Marcy Prudencio of Albuquerque, Henry Urias and his wife, Hai Thi of Albuquerque, Pres Urias and his wife, Dorothy of Belen, Irene Chavez and her husband, A.T. of Los Lunas, David Urias and his wife, Hazel, Edward Urias and his wife, Sandra, Christina Garcia and her husband, Issac, all of Albuquerque, Luis Urias and his wife, Lisa of San Jose, CA, and Carolyn Sanchez and her husband, Lawrence of Los Lunas; 21 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. All services will be held at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church in Valencia beginning with a viewing on Friday September 3, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 4, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Valencia Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Jason Urias, Marcus Urias, Keith Sanchez, A.T. Chavez, Christopher Urias, and Gerome Urias. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St. Belen.
