Col. Bob L. Forkner, USAF, Ret., 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1962, died Tuesday, August 31, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Jane Forkner; sons, William L. Forkner and wife, Priscilla of Houston, TX and Charles L. Forkner of Albuquerque; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Col. Forkner was born in Hartford City, IN. He attended and graduated from Purdue University. He served in the United States Air Force until his retirement. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and interment of cremated remains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
