Oather G. Free, 87, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, August 25, 2004. He is survived by his daughters, JoeAnn Carr and husband, Dean of Los Lunas and Bobbie Sue Miller; son, Deral Meek and wife, Stacy, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Kimberly Miller, Dane Miller, and Charlene Lawrence; great-grandchildren, Julia Meek and Deral Meek, Jr., Dano and Eddy Miller, and Thomas Lawrence; sisters, Dorothy Burton and husband, Charles of Albuquerque and Cecile Schmidt and husband, Rob of Sacramento, CA; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with Pastor Boyd Morrod officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Deral Meek, Dean Carr, Larry Stepp, Bill Crawley, Jim Crawley, and Deral Meek, Jr. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
