Robert S. Bowland, 90, resident of Albuquerque since 1946, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2004. He would have been 91 September 2, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mavis Bowland; daughter, Talya Bowland of Roswell, NM; son, Denny Mastin and wife, Milly, of Alto, NM; daughter, Karla Dean and husband, Joe, of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Brian Hodges, Stacy Hodges, Todd Mastin, Troy Mastin, Shelly Sipes, Bill Dean; great-grandchildren, Ella Mastin, Rebecca Sipes, Travis Sipes; nieces, Sharon Chinn and husband Jim, and Shirley Lacy and husband, Bob. Robert was a lifetime member of the Elks, and also a member and elder at Immanuel Presbyterian. He was a veteran of World War II. Robert was an accountant with Fedway for many years and the Albuquerque Credit Bureau for over 30 years. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2004, 10:30 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Immanuel Presbyterian, 114 Carlisle SE.
