Obituary for CHAMBERS

Marion "Chips" Chambers, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1951, was called home by our Heavenly Father, Wednesday, August 18, 2004. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Beatryce; daughter, Barbara Chambers; son, John M. Chambers and wife, Harriett; grand-daughters, Megan and Lauren Chambers; sisters, Kayla Shellenberger and Virginia Dunn; two aunts, Ruth Israel and Edith Treece; two special cousins, Erma Miller and Eugene Campbell; and a large extended family. Marion served honorably in the U. S. Navy during WWII. He is a member of Sandia Baptist Church and was a member of Parkview Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He will be remembered as a true friend, always a gentleman, and a master craftsman. He created beautiful woodwork for his church and his many friends. The family will greet friends at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, on Sunday, August 22, 2004 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, August 23, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel.
