Barbara Jane Shadle, age 80, and a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 15, 2004. Barbara volunteered her time at The Storehouse for the past 28 years, and took care of her friends and neighbors whenever needed. She will be terribly missed by all. Barbara is survived by her sons, Dave and his wife ,Jackie, Rick, Joe and his wife, Deon; grandchildren, Zach and his wife, Cheryl, Hillary, Allison, Ashley, Hayley; and great-granddaughter, Olivia. A memorial service will be held at Ridgecrest Christian Church, 5300 Eastern SE, near the corner of San Mateo and Gibson, on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Ken Kady officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Barbara's name to the American Red Cross, 142 Monroe NE. Albuquerque, NM. 87108, or to The Storehouse, 106 Broadway Blvd. SE.
