Obituary for VILLEGAS

Anita. Mrs. Anita H. Villegas, 77, born in Jalisco, Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico since 1953 passed away on August 13, 2004. Mrs. Villegas is the beloved wife of 59 years to Mr. Irineo Villegas. Mrs. Villegas is also survived by her loving children, Esperanza Sauceda and husband, Ernest, Maria Candelaria and husband, Bill, Jose de la Luz Villegas, Carlos Villegas and wife, Sally, Jaime Villegas and wife, Anna, Anna Tapia and husband, Mark; four brothers, Emiliano Herrera and wife, Eva, Fernando Herrera and wife, Maria, Roberto Herrera and wife, Anna and Abelardo Herrera; one sister, Elva Herrera; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Villegas was preceded in death by two sisters, Marina and Carmen and a grandson, Santiago. Mrs. Villegas was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Mrs. Villegas will be Sunday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Catholic Church, 2401 Broadway SE with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Los Hermanos. A second Rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. by Father Gabriel Paredes at San Jose Catholic Church with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m. A final visitaiton will be Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 at San Jose Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Gabriel Paredes. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Bill Candelaria, Abran Villegas, Michael Sauceda, Andres Villegas, Pedro Villegas and Jacob Villegas. Honorary pallbearers will be, Lorenzo Sauceda, Adam Candelaria and Diego Villegas. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Rd SW 243-7861
