Obituary for TUDESQUE

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Monday August 16, 2004

Debbie Tudesque was born July 10, 1959 and passed away August 12, 2004. From her father Orlando Sandoval, Debbie inherited drive and persistence; from her mother Pauline Pate, Debbie was graced with a love of family and a need to give. To her husband Joe, she was a sweetheart, partner, and friend. They shared each laugh and every tear. Debbie loved to dance, bake, and was never afraid to speak her mind. At family gatherings, she was always a ring leader, making sure food got cooked, tables were set, and everyone had a good time, especially at her house. She was never much of a drinker, but she liked her marguerites. Her collection of elephant statues brought her luck. For the last 23 years, Debbie dealt with Lupus. With the support of her husband and family, she made struggling with this disease look like simply another chore to complete. After much suffering in her last days, the Good Lord has ended her pain. Debbie's pride, heart, and spirit live on in her daughter Ashley who she loved so much. It comes, as no surprise to anyone who knew her that Debbie was an organ donor. Debbie is survived by her husband, Joe Tudesque; her daughter, Ashley Tudesque; her mother, Pauline Pate and stepfather, Jay W. Pate; her father, Orlando Sandoval and stepmother Rosa Sandoval; her sister, Patsi Faria and brother-in- law George Faria; her brother, Orlando Sandoval and sister-in-law, Debbie Sandoval; her brother, Michael Sandoval and sister-in-law, Christine Sandoval; her mother-in-law, Irene Tinkle; sister-in- law, Arlene Alsup; and many friends, cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A Rosary will be held at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Tudesque Family, 809 Cagua NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87108. All contributions are greatly appreciated. French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE 275-3500
