John Lawrence Duggan, 85, a resident of Albuquerque for many years, died Sunday, August 8, 2004 after a long illness. He is survived by his children, Kathleen Holcomb and husband, Phillip, Michael Duggan and wife, Martha Mitchell, Luana Duggan, Paul Duggan and wife, Cathy, Mark Duggan, and Jerry Duggan and wife, Elissa; and two grandchildren, Aidan and Colleen. Mr. Duggan was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae; two sons, Matthew and Kevin; and his faithful dog, Sally. John was born in Durango, CO in 1919. He graduated from Notre Dame University after serving in the 92nd Infantry Division in Italy in World War II. John was discharged with the rank of Major. He worked as an accountant for many years in Durango, Farmington, Gallup and Albuquerque. A private service was held.
