Grace T. Burdi, a 29 year resident of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away on August 11, 2004. She was born on July 30, 1920 to Saverio and Eufemia Burdi in New York. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Rio Rancho. Grace enjoyed playing card games with her special group of friends, loved entertaining, and was fond of being out and about. She was preceded in death by her sister, Fay Libutti; and her brother, Mike Burdi. She is survived by her two sisters, Dorothy Renzetti of New York and Tina Santora of Rio Rancho. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones who will deeply miss her. A visitation for Fay will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2004 from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m., with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Sunrise Funeral Options in Rio Rancho. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 16, 2004 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Rio Rancho with Msgr. Douglas Raun as celebrant. Cremation will follow.
