Vivian (Jean) passed away recently. She was born in Funkley, MN on February 29, 1932. She is survived by four children: Gail Carrick Peyton, CO, David, Severn, MD, Darrell, Homer, AK, and Scott Beeker, Severna Park, MD. She is also survived by her three brothers; David Hannigan, Beatty, NV, Jim Hannigan, Bemiji, MN., and Roger Hannigan of Funkley, MN., and four grandchildren; Alethea Beeker, Keene, NH., Gavin Beeker, Keene, NH., Nick Beeker, Homer, AK., and Kevin Beeker, also of Homer, AK. Jean graduated from Blackduck High School, Blackduck, MN. She enlisted in the Women's Air Force as a Radio Operator and retired with her now deceased husband, SMSgt. Samuel F. Beeker (retired) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jean was an active volunteer for the Lovelace Women's Auxiliary and she was also a Republican Committee Volunteer. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in The Chapel of Sunrise. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 12th, at 11:00 a.m., also in The Chapel of Sunrise. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
