Donald Dwight Hesselbarth, 89, a resident Rio Rancho and formerly of Albuquerque, died Friday, August 6, 2004. He is survived by his daughter, Karyn S. Ogonowski of Rio Rancho; granddaughter, Amber L. and husband, James Coburn of Rio Rancho; brothers, Wayne Hesselbarth and wife, Wilma of Santa Maria, CA, Maynard and wife, Opal of Hesselbarth of Grand Junction, CO and Keith R. and wife, Toby of Santa Maria, CA; sister, Redessa Holman of Camden, MI; and cousin, Naomi Flint of Salina, KS. Mr. Hesselbarth was an active member of Paradise Hills United Methodist Church and a former employee of Sandia National Laboratories, retiring in 1980 after 30 years of service.
