Paul Leo, 79, longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM peacefully passed August 5, 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents Ann Lunder Britt, and Paul W Britt, his wife Marjorie Britt, and his grandson Glen Anthony Modica. He was born April 6, 1925 in Fargo, ND, attended high school in Fort Collins, CO and served in the U.S. Navy 1943-1946. He began his radio career in Fort Collins, CO and Los Angles, CA Before moving to Albuquerque. Paul was a professional entertainer, Albuquerque's golden voice of radio, television, and Captain Miracle! He charmed his audiences with his talent, his knowledge, and his love of music. His passion for magic became a shared joy with his wife Marjorie. They performed magic shows professionally, and for many charitable events. Magic was a focus and it lead to travel to California, Canada, and Japan. Paul is survived by 5 children; Christine Modica and Philip, Scott Britt and Kathrynn, Nelda Patton and John, Eric Lowe and Jane, and Leslie Lowe, 9 grand children; David Modica and Sandee, Staci Porch and Brannon, Tara Britt, Jason Britt, John West and Leigha Patton, Matt Patton, Shane Patton, Jeremiah Lowe, and Peter Lowe, 3 great-grandchildren; Hunter Modica, Dante Britt, Sterling Patton, and many beloved relatives, extended family and friend, who loved and will miss him. Paul Britt's family humbly thanks all generous friends, extended family, professionals and caregivers for providing Paul's loving environment. You will always be in our hearts and prayers. Funeral Services will be held at San Ysidro Parish in Corrales on Monday, August 9th at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers consider a contribution to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.
