Obituary for YOST

Stanley Joseph Yost, 52, passed away on July 27, 2004. A celebration of his life for family and friends was held on August 2, 2004 at the Aspen Funeral Alternatives Chapel in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Stan was born on the 4th of July, 1952 in Alton, Illinois to Virginia Bell and Grover Yost. Stan graduated from Southwestern Community Unit High School in Piasa, Illinois in 1970. Stan recently was awarded his 25-year membership certificate in the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States. Stan was a skilled craftsman as a welder and found a great passion in the trade not only on the job but in his day-to-day life. Stan loved to play his guitar, loved to go camping and fishing, and have a good time with family and friends. He was very compassionate and proud of his two children. Stan is survived by his daughter, Lindsay Yost, 23, of Northglenn, Colorado, son, Scott Yost, 18, of Mancos, Colorado and sisters, Donna Testeman, Vickie Schultz, Judy Maxwell and Barbara Crow, all of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Preceding Stan's death was his mother, Virginia Plunkett, his father, Grover Yost and two sisters, Shirley Wreath and Shelly Pennington.
