Obituary for MCLANE

Irving A. McLane "Mac", 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died Friday, July 30, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Erolene McLane; sons, James McLane and Victor McLane and wife, Theresa, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Brittany McLane, Michelle Scott and husband, Jeff, James Steven McLane and Jessica Chavez and husband, Joseph; great-grandchildren, Erika Scott, Nicholas Scott and Jessika Scott; and sister, Gwen Ingram of Quitman, TX. Mac was a military veteran having served in the Navy and was discharged in January 1946. He was a member of the Quarter Century Wireless Association, Inc. (QCWA) for 55 years and served as secretary and treasurer for 15 years and was also a member of the Albuquerque Amateur Radio Club. Mac was a volunteer and arrangement coordinator for the Billy Graham Teleconferencing Center for several years. He was also a member of Bible Study Fellowship for six years. Services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Del Norte Baptist Church, 5800 Montgomery NE, with Pastor Robert Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Monday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Del Norte Baptist Church, Missions Offering, 5800 Montgomery Blvd. NE, 87109.
