Irving A. McLane "Mac", 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died Friday, July 30, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Erolene McLane; sons, James McLane and Victor McLane and wife, Theresa, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Brittany McLane, Michelle Scott and husband, Jeff, James Steven McLane and Jessica Chavez and husband, Joseph; great-grandchildren, Erika Scott, Nicholas Scott and Jessika Scott; and sister, Gwen Ingram of Quitman, TX. Mac was a military veteran having served in the Navy and was discharged in January 1946. He was a member of the Quarter Century Wireless Association, Inc. (QCWA) for 55 years and served as secretary and treasurer for 15 years and was also a member of the Albuquerque Amateur Radio Club. Mac was a volunteer and arrangement coordinator for the Billy Graham Teleconferencing Center for several years. He was also a member of Bible Study Fellowship for six years. Services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Del Norte Baptist Church, 5800 Montgomery NE, with Pastor Robert Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.
