Matthew L. Lewis, Jr. 1952-2004 Matthew L. Lewis Jr., (Butch), (Lew), (Matt), age 52, fell asleep in Christ on July 21, 2004. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Angie; his sons, Anthony and Kris; his daughter, LaToya; his mother and stepfather, Rosa M. and Menwill Spady; his sister, Deborah Cleveland; four grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. Born in Salem, NJ, he was the only son of the late Matthew Sr. and Rosa M. Lewis. Matthew graduated from Penns Grove High School in 1970, and served in the United States Air Force for twenty years, retiring honorably in 1994. He was a talented musician, avid biker, had many hobbies, and was a perfectionist at everything he did. His gift for softening hearts and bringing a smile to a face was shared with everyone. His laughter and goodness touched countless lives, and he will be remembered as a beautiful soul. May he rest in peace with the Lord until we see him again in heaven. A memorial service will be held on Friday July 30, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home Chapel located at 418 W. Reinken in Belen. Arrangements by Riverside Funeral Home in Belen.
