Obituary for DOW

Arthur "Honey" Dow, 76, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died on July 20, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Dow of Albuquerque; six children, Liz Dow-Rubio and husband, John of Rio Rancho, Leonard Lincoln Dow and wife, Linda of Austin, TX, Arthur J. Dow, Jr., and wife, Cathy, Alfred Paul Dow and fiancee, Vicky, Howard Lee Dow and wife, Mary Hellen and Yvette Lopez and husband, David all of Albuquerque; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Leo Dow, Ernest Dow and wife, Florence, Archie Dow and wife, Ramona, Orlando Dow and wife, Helen and Robert Dow all of Albuquerque; dear sister-in-law, Priscilla Dow of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elisha and Claudina Dow; son, John Michael Dow; brother, Jimmy Dow; three grandchildren, Lincoln Paul, Derek James and Eryn Lynn. Arthur was a member of the New Mexico Retail Liquor Dealers Association, New Mexico Amigos, Elks Club, Lobo Club, Petroleum Club, NM Board of Realtors and the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper NW. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Arthur's sons and daughters. Honorary pallbearers will be Arthur's brothers and Eddie Brito, Mike Anaya, Sen. Pete V. Domenici and Johnny Elwell.
