Betty M. Klassen 67, a resident of Silver City NM, died Sunday July 18, 2004. She is survived by her husband, Albert Klassen; three children, Robert Klassen of Las Lunas NM, Barbara Starks of Hutchison KS, Jay Klassen of Ocean Spring MS; two sisters, Jean Dean of Mechanicsville MD, Barbara McCoy of Branford FL; and granddaughter Jennifer Klassen of Las Lunas NM. She taught in the APS for 30 years before retiring to Silver City with her husband. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and wonderful friend to all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed. The Family wishes to express their appreciation to the Oncology nursing staff at Presbyterian Hospital. A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Silver City, NM, on Saturday July 24, 2004 at 10:00 a.m.
