Esther Georgette Olds, 85, a 50-year resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, June 29, 2004. Mrs. Olds was born April 6, 1919 in Rolfe, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Dow Robert Olds and son, Michael Dean Olds. Mrs. Olds is survived by her sons, Dow Robert Olds of Dallas, TX and Richard A. Olds of St. Thomas, VI; daughter, Deanna Brown and husband, Jerry of Haysville, KS; grandchildren, Stacy Lynn Brown, Jeremy Allen Brown, Kelsey Michelle Brown, Robert Edward Olds and Michael Allen Olds; sister, Helen Johnson and husband, Joe of Ankeny, IA; brother-in-law, Wilbur Kline of Lenora, KS; and many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends. Services will be held Thursday, July 8, 2004, 10:00 a.m., at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 210 Alvarado Dr., SE, with Pastor John Heffelfinger officiating. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
