Patsy M. Solano, born February 10, 1934, died peacefully at her home on July 1, 2004 after a year illness with terminal brain cancer. She is survived by her husband, Roy G. Solano; daughters, Dee Scheppler, and Elizabeth Briscoe; son, Gilbert Solano; grandchildren, Nicolas Roberts, Alexis Roberts, Christopher Scheppler, David Solano, Jesse Solano and Tim Solano. The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses and staff at the Hoag Cancer Center of Newport Beach, California for their never ending support and compassion. There will be a visitation at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel on Monday, July 5, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. at the Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School NE, followed by a reception and burial at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
