William C. (Clay) Parker; Age 58; born January 14, 1946 in Franklin Virginia. Died July 2, 2004 at home in Brush Prairie WA. He had lived in Southampton County Virginia, El Paso Texas, Albuquerque New Mexico and the last 16 years in Brush Prairie. Occupation, financial services for 10 years, 25 years as a Journeyman Carpenter until retirement Preceded in Death by Father, Elliott B. Parker, Courtland VA Surviors; Cindy L. Peterson, Brush Prairie WA, wife; mother, Page E Parker, Courtland VA; Sons, Elliott W. Parker, Dallas, TX, Bryan C Parker, Albuquerque, NM; Stepson, Joel Peterson, Spokane, WA; Sisters, Jane E Parker, Charlottesville, VA, Nancy P Paker, Courtland, VA; Uncle, Robert Cobb, Franklin VA. Activities and Memberships; member of Carpenters Union Local 247 and Moose Lodge 2362. Enjoyed woodworking, working on farm tractors and equipment, time with his dog Roscoe. Served in the US Army and Virginia National Guard. Had attended Garden of Webb College in Bolling Springs North Carolina and Bolton College in Wilsom, North Carolina. In his youth he had been active in Boy Scouts receiving the recognition of Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow. He was a member of the Courtland Virginia Baptist Church. Services: At Mr. Parkers request there will be no local services held. Private burial and memorial service will be be in Courtland VA at a later date.
