Obituary for BRACKEN

Bobbie Jean Bracken, 76, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, died Saturday, June 26, 2004. She is survived by her daughters, Beverly A. Jackson, Jacqueline M. Casteel and husband, Jesse, and Sondra Isaminger and husband, John, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Monica St. John and husband, Chris, Sherry Jackson, Christie Jackson, Charles Dowdy III and wife, Erica, Tonya Casteel, David Casteel and wife, Desire, and Shawn Casteel; great-grandchildren, Alexander Neff, Brittney Neff, Alexxa Nieto, Sabrina Nieto, Trinity Dowdy, Richard Dowdy, Madison Dowdy, Angelica Casteel, and Elizabeth Eve Casteel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Bracken; daughter, Betty; and granddaughter, Michelle Isaminger. She was born in Sapulpa, OK and met Clarence Bracken in Wichita, KS where they were married in 1946. She followed him wherever his tour duties in the USAF took them. They moved to Albuquerque in 1964 and later they operated Grandma and Grandpa's Day Care for several years. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, and friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Sandia Baptist Church. Services will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2004, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Lemuel Boyles officiating. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Tuesday, June 29, 2004, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE 275-3500
