Obituary for MACIAS

Modesto Macias, was born on July 20, 1937, he passed away at the age of 66, Mr. Macias was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Peralta, NM. Modesto suffered a serious illness for the last 4 years. He had a special interest in taking care of his animals and had a special love for horses. Mr. Macias loved his wife dearly. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Marcella Macias. He is also survived by his sons, Reymundo, Gilberto, Jesus, Edward, Rudy, Modesto Jr. and Antonio Macias. He is also survived by one sister, Aurora Torres, and three brothers, Rodolfo, Ignacio, and Jesus Macias. He is also survived by his Compadres, Vicente and Lala Gutierrez who married Modesto and Marcella. He is also survived by six step-children, Manuel, John, Frankie, Rosie, Diane, and Connie; 32 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and close friends. Visitations will be at Salazar and Sons Mortuary on Friday, June 25, 2004 beginning at 3:00 p.m. with an Evening Service at 7:00 p.m. also at Salazar and Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Peralta, NM on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Valencia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Cruz Torres, Raul Semental, Kiki Semental, Francisco Macias, Daniel Macias and Jesus Macias Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are: Joel Macias, Chuky Macias, Ray Macias and Esteban Macias.
