Santiago "Jim" Flores of Laveen, AZ passed away June 5, 2004 at the age of 74. He was born in Puerto de Luna, NM on September 6, 1929. He was a lifelong carpenter with a passion for team roping, polka dancing, and his family-devoted to "his girls". Longtime member of the Polka Club of Arizona, polka promoter, and The Sheriff's Posse. Preceded in death by his parents Pablo and Romana Flores; brothers, Alfonso, Pablo, Gilbert; and sister, Flora. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Zulema "Sue"; brothers, Luis, Alfredo, Bobby; daughters, Kathryn Pennell, Flora Mondragon, Joyce Carnes, Sandra Worthington; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass to be held at Our Lady of Refuge, Puerto de Luna, NM, Saturday, June 19, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Puerto de Luna, NM.
