Ross Donald Rigby died early Sunday morning, June 6, 2004 at age 81. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. After the war, he was employed by General Motors Corporation as an aeronautical engineer with the Allison Jet Engine Division of that corporation. He remained with Allison Jet Engines until his retirement in Albuquerque at age 65. Ross is survived by his wife of 33 years, Thu Thanh; daughter, Maria Bernal of Phoenix, AZ and her husband, Eric; son, Christian Rigby; sister, Marilyn Thompson and her husband, M.D. Thompson of Salt Lake City, Utah; and numerous nephews and nieces also of Salt Lake City. Cremation of Mr. Rigby has already taken place under the supervision of Sunrise Cremation Society of New Mexico.
