Andrew Troy Kersey, age 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946 was called home to be with our Heavenly Father, Saturday, June 5, 2004. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy Kersey; children, June and husband, Brian Butler, of Albuquerque, Kaye and husband, Don Baehr of Edgewood, Joan Kostedt of Portales, NM, Tom Kersey of Albuquerque, Gloria and husband, Steve Drake of Clovis, NM; grandchildren, Bruce Martin and family, Glenn Kostedt and family, Janet Buenafe and family, Ken Kostedt and family, Tonya Nelson and family, James Lowe and family, Allan Kostedt and family, Troy Butler and Lin Drake. 19 great-grandchildren; brother of Ruby and Leon Prindle, Greta and Homer Thomas and family; brother-in-law of Jones Lee and Nancy Hopkins and family, Sue Russell and family, and numerous nieces and nephews and families. He was born in Manitou, OK and raised in Oklahoma Lane, TX. He was a World War II veteran. Andrew retired from Sandia National Labs in 1986. Services will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
