Obituary for TORRACO

Pasquale "Pat" Torraco, Col. USAF (Ret) 79, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004. He is survived by his children, Dennis J. Torraco, Daniel W. Torraco (Lisa), Mary C. Torraco, Camille A. Torraco all of Albuquerque and Regina R. Sworski (Loren) of Minnesota; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Russell Torraco (Gloria) of New York. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernice in 1980, his second wife, Virginia, and his son, Douglas J. Torraco. Col. Torraco started his military career in 1942 with the U.S. Marine Corps then went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force where he retired in 1975 after 32 years of military service. He volunteered his services for seniors with the VITA Program through the IRS. A Rosary will be recited at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. on Monday, June 7, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. on Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. with full military honors.
