Mr. Genovevo P. Griego, 91, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on June 3, 2004 with his loving family by his side. Mr. Griego is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Mrs. Margaret Griego. Mr. Griego is also survived by one daughter, Ermelinda Jaramillo and husband, Toby; two sons, Roberto Griego, Reynaldo Griego and wife, Albina; two sisters, Clarita G. Romero and Ninfa G. Cordova; one brother, Santiago P. Griego and wife, Maria; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Griego was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. A visitation for Mr. Griego will be Sunday afternoon from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 p.m. by Deacon Tibo Chavez. A final visitation will be Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Daniel Balizan. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Anthony Ray Griego, Toby Michael Jaramillo, Mario Jaramillo, Vicente Soliz, Leo Cordova and Marney Cordova.
